SLOW COOKED TURKEY CHILL

 Eating healthy requires discipline,action and perseverance.It takes a lot of restraint to avoid the various delicious temptations of the world,but being mindful goes a long way.Lean meats come in various forms and are vitamin packed,they're not only a healthy option,they're absolutely delicious too.Here is a fabulous lean meat recipe you need to try.


SLOW COOKED TURKEY CHILL

Ingredients

 2 tablespoons olive oil
 1 medium onion
 1 large red pepper
 4 cloves garlic,peeled and minced
 2 tablespoons chili powder
 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
 1 teaspoon ground cumin
 2 teaspoons salt
 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
 1 Lb. extra - lean ground turkey breast
 3 cups low sodium vegetable juice
 1 15-oz. can no -added-salt diced tomatoes in their juice
 2 15-oz. cans kidney beans,drained and rinsed
 2 avocados,peeled and diced
1/2 cup plain yogurt,divided

METHOD
Heat olive oil over medium heat in skillet.Add onion and bell pepper and cook until soft.
Stir in the garlic,chili powder,cocoa powder,ground cumin,salt and pepper.
Cook for 1 minute to blend the species.
Pour onion and spice mixture into slow cooker.
Cook the turkey in the same skillet, breaking the turkey into small pieces and cooking until the turkey breast loses pink color.
Place in the slow cooker.
Add the vegetable juice,chicken broth,tomatoes and their juice and kidney beans.
Cover the slow cooker and set on low.
Cook for 4 hours.
Garnish if you wish either with a avocado,vegetable,pasta etc

HOW TO MAKE PEANUTS

PEANUTS.
Recipes:
Groundnut (raw). 1cup
Fresh egg. 1
Cooking oil.
Sugar. (to taste)
Flour.
Vanilla flavour. 1food cover
Salt. (more than a pinch)
PROCEDURE:
1. Wash the groundnut and sieve out the water. Put in a bowl.
2. Break the egg into the groundnut and stir well.
3. Add sugar to it and mix.
4. Add salt and taste.
5. Add the vanilla flavour.
6. Add the flour little by little, and mix with the groundnut.
7. Bring out the groundnut mixed with flour in separate plate.
8. Put groundnut oil in pot or pan and allow to heat for some minutes.
9. When the oil must have heated, add some of the coated groundnut. (Don't stir immediately so that the coating won't go off the groundnut).
10. Allow to fry a bit before you can stir gradually.
11. While frying, don't cover the pot/pan. Deep fry. (Don't leave it to be so brownish while frying)
12. Use a sieve spoon to bring the peanuts out and put in a sieve.
13. Turn off the heat and allow to get cold.
NB: To preserve, put in a well tight covered container to avoid penetration of air.

HOW I ICED MY SISTER'S BIRTHDAY CAKE

SIMPLE BUTTER AND STICK BISCUIT ICING
 
   For those who are still learning icing or someone that needs a very simple and cheap iced cake,feel free to try the below easy steps and remember to thank me later.

REQUIREMENTS




ICING SUGAR [2 CUPS]
MARGARINE  [1 CUP]
PARTY LIGHT STICK
WOODEN STICK
STICK BISCUITS
CAKE BOARD
CAKE KNIFE
RIBBON
SIEVE




FIRST SIEVE THE ICING SUGAR




CREAM THE MARGARINE AND ICING SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY
ADD VANILLA FLAVOUR AND MILK [OPTIONAL]
IF YOU WANT IT TO BE HARDER THEN STILL ADD MORE ICING SUGAR
AND THAT IS ALL FOR THE BUTTER ICING


RUB THE CREAM ROUND YOUR WELL LEVELED CAKE.
I USED MY CAKE KNIFE BECAUSE IT HAS THE KIND OF SURFACE I NEEDED



  STICK YOUR BISCUIT ROUND THE CAKE AND TIE WITH RIBBON
OUR CAKE ICING IS DONE,I JUST HAD TO MAKE SOME PAPER NAME AND STICKED IT TO THE CUP CAKES ON TOP AND THAT IS IT
